Putting right a popular misconception!

October 17, 2016

It’s now mid-October and right on cue – the Question is regularly posed. Every year at about this time, sincere, genuine and interested customers ask me the same thing – what I have done to warrant this question – I have no idea!  The issue I am referring to is the assumption that we ‘Close for the Winter’. I would love to – avoid the bad weather and go to warmer climes – providing someone came in at no cost to trim my hedges, tidy my borders, cut back all the herbaceous plants and look after the Nursery.  But no! High Garden Nurseries remains open all year, apart from a couple of weeks or so Christmas/New Year. So you are welcome to come and visit any time during the winter – you may well have me all to yourself!!

Normal hours Tuesday to Friday 9 – 5.00 ish if its getting dark.

The garden will be also open for viewing during these hours. Lots of Autumn colour at the moment and hopefully for the next few weeks.  The Bothy tea room will probably close early November.
